Nutrient deficiency, or undernutrition, is when your body does not get enough nutrients, calories, or protein. You can be deficient in any of the essential vitamins or minerals the body needs. The most common deficiencies include vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin C, iron, zinc, magnesium, and iodine deficiencies. They are classified as micronutrients because we need them in rather small amounts - usually a few milligrams (mg) a day, or sometimes even micrograms (μg). The human body cannot synthesize most vitamins, therefore we must obtain them from our diet. Vitamin D is an exception, as it can be synthesized in the skin when we are exposed to sunlight.
"Burdock contains over 92 out of 102 minerals that the body needs," reads on-screen text in the video. "Dr. Sebi tried to show it to the world but they threw him in prison and he d!ed (sic)."
